My job as your doula is to bring about the most positive birthing experience possible. My goal is to help ease your transition into parenthood, thus helping you become a more confident mother. Studies have proven and common sense dictates, that the more empowered a woman feels in labor and delivery, the more confident she feels as a new parent. My job is to stand by you and offer education and unconditional support, whatever way you chose to birth your baby.
Birth Doula Services Provided:
*Initial consultation, $50 fee to be put towards the full payment if we chose to work together.
Package #1
*Two 2 hour prenatal home visits which will cover birth plans, comfort measures, alleviating fears and answering any and all questions you may have.
*Continuous labor support as early as you feel you need me at either your home or in the hospital. I stay with you until an hour or two following the birth, when you are settled and comfortable.
*One 2 hour postpartum visit, where you will have a chance to review the birthing experience and cover any questions you may have about baby care and feeding.
This package is $1050
Package #2
One 2 hour prenatal home visit which will cover birth plans, comfort measures, alleviating fears and answering any and all questions you may have.
*Continuous labor in active labor the hospital. I stay with you until an hour or two following the birth, when you are settled and comfortable. Follow up visit upon request for an additional $50.
This package is $800
Package # 3
This package includes continuous labor support for active labor in the hospital. I come to the hospital when your labor begins to be active and stay until an hour or two following the birth, when you are settled and comfortable. This would be used as a short notice plan. This is a great way for someone who did not think about hiring a doula until the last minute, someone who's support system fell through, someone who is lower on funds or for someone who doesn't deem the pre/postnatal visits necessary to get the labor support they need. A contract would not be provided and I attend the birth on a case by case basis.
This package is $550
All prices are subject to exceptions. I believe no one should go without the support they need and I am willing to negotiate/barter for special circumstances. Please don't hesitate to call due to pricing!!
NOTE: New prices beginning 11/5/09
